Saudi Airlines commended by goverment of Pakistan

Jeddah: An invitation of goodwill was recently extended on behalf of the Government of Pakistan by the Honorable Mr. Rauf A. Siddiqui, Minister of Industries and Commerce to Mr. Abdullah I. Al-Azhari, Saudi Arabian Airlines (SV) MGR Pakistan, to a small social gathering at the Minister's office.

The gathering took place on May 28, 2008 and was attended by Consul Generals of the GCC nations, including H.E. Dr. Hassan Attar, the Saudi Consul General. The occasion was in recognition of the excellent services provided by Saudi Arabian Airlines, the National Carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the people of Sind Province. A certificate of appreciation was presented on the occasion to Mr. Al-Azhari and the Honorable Minister said a few words in which he lauded the efforts exerted by the MGR SV in Pakistan through whose good work the image of the Airline had reached nationwide recognition.

The Minister mentioned that he had received numerous calls, not only locally, but also from upcountry praising the excellent services afforded by Saudi Arabian Airlines to Hajjis and those traveling to perform Umrah. Mr. Al-Azhari thanked the Honorable Minister and wished him success in his endeavors.
