For the First time, DNC has a tent for bloggers and New Media. It is an electrifying scene there are blogger her from all over the country covering the convention. I have next to me in the Big Tent Dan Nejfelt from Faith in Public Life. Dan is here to help promote the voices of religious leaders who represent the voice of the common good. Dan will be covering the faith Caucus that is happening at the convention center today. Dan is trying to get religious leaders the proper media attention. According to Dan the Catholic and Evangelical voters are focusing on more issues than they used to and are becoming politically independent. So what we hear in traditional media that they are mainly Republicans may not be true anymore.
The Big Tent is sponsored by Google, Daily KOS, Digg and others. It will be interesting to know if the GOP is also helping to set up a similar tent for Saint Paul, Minneapolis
