Iran warns US Army of crossing its airspace
Cleric Sayyed Moqtada Al Sadr’s envoy Sheikh Mohannad Al Gharawi’s handed Syrian President Bashar Al Assad a letter denouncing US raid on Syria. Al Gharawi affirmed that Syria has embraced Iraq leaders and supported their missions.
As on the Iranian level, Iran’s military command warned US military in Iraq of allowing US helicopters to cross into Iran’s airspace. Iranian radio reported a military statement as saying that US helicopters were hovering low above Iraqi borders with Iran. As they were close to Iranian borders, there’s a risk they might cross into Iranian airspace. The statement added that Iranian armed forces will respond to any violation.
