I remember visiting Montpellier the late summer of 2001, where there was a similar problem. Dogs were running all over the place, and the whole city literally smelled. I do not know if there was an issue with rabies there, but the officials certainly was under some pressure to solve the situation there as well.

Wow, how frightening. That scene looks even more scary than a walk down Wall Street.

Such a tragedie, its totally deplorable. Could you argue that this is a metaphor for the political situation in Pakistan?

Well you don't go up to dogs you don't know. And to the kid's that got bit there parents should have been watching them so they didn't approach the dog.So they were asking for it.

So you really argue that they have themselves to blame for being injured and that the parents are to blame? Have you ever been in a country where they have rabies dogs?

Jawad, They must have some form of goverment, even if it is the political agent or the tribal elder. But I think media would be more effective to get other parts of Pakistan involved.

Hello, as you reported in the blog that the media must play its important role which can involve the other parts of the pakistan.offcourse all the concern people are playing their role in this regard but some or we can say that most of the officers are involve in stealling the medicines from the hospitals of the areas like landi kotal and other remote areas.you must find most of the governament provided medicines in the market.because they sell it on black and then fillup the list of the patients with temporary names.what i'm saying is 100% based on facts and thats what i saw in my last five years journalistic period.
